The seasonal climbing closure at West Rock State Park in New Haven has been lifted. Effective 8/29/2020

The South Buttress of West Rock State Park in New Haven, CT is temporarily closed due to nesting Peregrine Falcons.

The city of Meriden recognizes climbing as a legitimate recreational activity on town land only for those individuals who maintain active membership with the Ragged Mountain Foundation.
