Although this is part of a popular state park and close to Route 80, the cliff is tucked away from the crowds and offers a fun day of climbing in the woods. The top edge of the cliff is often very sharp, so great care must be given to protecting your rope from these edges. Hang anchors low and use protective padding. Please take it home with you so that climbers do not develop a reputation for leaving trash.
Local Access Issues
There are no access problems here. The land is part of a state park.
Getting There
Park in a dirt lot on the south side of Route 80 just west of the state park. This is the only legal parking along the road. Hike west along the north side of Rt 80 through road cuts and look for a small trail leading right from a gap in the guard rail. The hike is only 5 minutes or so; cliff is less than 100yds away.
